Tameside Taekwondo is a member of Northern Taekwondo, a group of clubs within Greater Manchester and Leeds. We are also a member of the GTUK, a national Taekwondo association. Both instructors are CRB checked and insured to teach adults and children.
Taekwondo is a South Korean martial art. In many ways it is similar to karate, with many fast and powerful kicks. Like any martial art, training in Taekwondo improves fitness, flexibility and confidence in self-defence.
